Frequently asked questions about the CS Order Suite

This FAQ page answers the most common questions about the CS Order Suite, the multi-tenant B2B e-commerce software — from ERP integration, contract pricing, and multi-storefront operation to punchout/EDI, payments and US sales tax, costs, and getting started. Every answer is short, direct, and fully readable without extra clicks.

01Basics

What is the CS Order Suite all about?

What is the CS Order Suite?

The CS Order Suite is a multi-tenant B2B e-commerce software built on Laravel and engineered in Deggendorf, Germany. It connects one or more brand storefronts to the vendor's ERP system, so products, inventory, customer-specific prices, and orders are synchronized automatically. Business customers log in and order at their negotiated terms.

Who is the CS Order Suite for?

The CS Order Suite is built for mid-sized manufacturers and wholesale distributors in North America and Europe that need a dealer or customer portal with ERP integration – industrial supply and MRO, packaging, Jan-San, building materials, foodservice. Typical users want to serve multiple brands, countries, or customer groups through dedicated storefronts while managing products, prices, and orders centrally from a single installation.

02ERP Integration

How does the CS Order Suite work with your ERP?

Which ERP systems can the CS Order Suite connect to?

The CS Order Suite connects to ERP systems through an adapter architecture; a ready adapter is available for SAP Business One. Through this adapter, products, inventory, customer-specific prices, and orders are synchronized between the ERP and the store. Other ERPs are connected through a project adapter over REST, OData, SOAP, database access, or file exchange — what that involves for your system is something we clarify in a demo call. See ERP integration and B2B e-commerce for SAP Business One.

How does the SAP Business One integration work?

The SAP Business One adapter synchronizes products, inventory, customer-specific prices, and orders between SAP Business One and the CS Order Suite. Master data and pricing terms are maintained in the ERP and displayed in the store; orders placed in the store flow back into the ERP as sales orders. This eliminates duplicate data maintenance across store and ERP.

03Stores, Pricing & Customers

How do storefronts, pricing, and account approval work?

Can I run multiple stores or brands from one installation?

Yes, the CS Order Suite uses its channel concept to run multiple brand storefronts from a single installation. For each brand, country, or customer group, you can set up a dedicated store with its own design and its own product range. Everything is managed centrally, so new channels never require a second system landscape.

Does every customer see their own prices?

Yes, after logging in, every business customer sees their negotiated terms from the ERP. The CS Order Suite pulls customer-specific prices and price lists directly from the ERP system, so the store applies exactly the terms stored there. Without login and account approval, no prices are displayed.

How are new customers approved in the CS Order Suite?

New customers go through an approval workflow: they register in the store, the vendor reviews the request, and only after approval do prices become visible and ordering possible. This approach is standard practice in B2B and ensures that pricing terms are accessible only to verified business customers.

04Languages, Costs & Products

What else is important to know?

Which barcode scanners does the CS Order Suite support?

The CS Order Suite runs directly in the browser on handheld handheld scanners – currently in production use with Honeywell devices. Because the scanner interface is browser-based, devices from other manufacturers can be connected without a dedicated app. We are happy to discuss which hardware fits your operation in a demo call.

Which languages does the CS Order Suite support?

The CS Order Suite supports English, German, and Chinese (EN/DE/ZH) within a single installation. This lets you serve international dealers and subsidiaries through the same store or through dedicated language channels. Content and product ranges are managed centrally, so going multilingual never requires building a second system.

How much does the CS Order Suite cost?

Pricing for the CS Order Suite is available on request because it depends on the scope of your project — for example the number of stores, the extent of the ERP integration, and individual requirements. A no-obligation demo call clarifies your needs and the project scope; you then receive a concrete quote. Appointments can be booked directly via Calendly.

How does the CS Order Suite differ from the CS AI Suite?

The CS Order Suite is the multi-tenant B2B e-commerce software with ERP integration, customer-specific pricing, an approval workflow, and scanner-based reordering. The CS AI Suite is a separate, modular AI software that supports day-to-day business operations. The two are independent products and can be used on their own or combined as needed.

05Punchout, EDI, Payments & US Customers

How does the CS Order Suite fit US procurement, payments, and tax?

Do you support punchout catalogs (cXML for Ariba/Coupa, OCI)?

Yes. The CS Order Suite can act as a punchout catalog for your customers' procurement systems: cXML for SAP Ariba, Coupa, Jaggaer, and Oracle, and OCI for SAP SRM and S/4HANA. Punchout is enabled per customer account — the buyer punches out from their procurement system into your store, sees their contract prices, and returns the cart to their procurement system as a requisition; the approved purchase order then arrives as a cXML order or EDI 850 and flows into your ERP. Details on the punchout & EDI page.

Can you handle EDI 850/855/856/810?

Yes. EDI documents — 850 purchase order, 855 order acknowledgment, 856 advance ship notice, and 810 invoice — are handled either through your customer's EDI provider or as a direct connection, set up per project and per trading partner. The order data lands in the same ERP flow as store orders, so pricing and fulfillment stay consistent.

How do payments and US sales tax work?

Payments — credit card, ACH, and net terms — run through your payment provider, for example Stripe or Authorize.net, and are integrated per project. US sales tax is calculated through a tax service such as Avalara or TaxJar, also integrated per project. Which provider and which rules apply depends on your setup; we scope this in the demo call rather than promising a fixed configuration. See integrations.

Do you work with customers in the United States?

Yes. We deliver remotely from Deggendorf, Germany, and offer demo slots in US time zones (ET, CT, PT) as well as CET. Hosting is in the EU by default, or in your own cloud environment if your requirements call for it. Contract pricing, punchout/EDI, payments, and sales tax are configured for the US market per project. Read more about us.

06Use Cases & Getting Started

How do you get started?

Is the CS Order Suite suitable for dealer and repair-shop portals?

Yes, the CS Order Suite is designed precisely for dealer and repair-shop portals with ERP integration. Repair shops and specialized dealers log in to order at their negotiated terms, see current inventory, and place orders that land directly in the vendor's ERP. Through the channel concept, each target group can get its own store if needed. See how an automotive paint distributor uses it in the Carsystem SÜD case study.

How do I get started with the CS Order Suite?

Getting started begins with a no-obligation demo call, which you can book directly with Christian Stockerl via Calendly. You will see the CS Order Suite live and clarify how the ERP integration, storefronts, and approval workflow fit your business. You then receive a quote tailored to your scope. If you want to prepare, our guides cover requirements, cost drivers, and ERP integration approaches.
