B2B online shop with ERP integration: SAP Business One connected

The ERP integration in the CS Order Suite connects the B2B e-commerce software to your ERP system through an adapter architecture: products, inventory, customer-specific prices, and orders stay in sync between the ERP and the shop — with an adapter for SAP Business One available today.

01The problem without integration

Why is ERP integration a must for a B2B online shop?

In B2B, all your business-critical data already lives in the ERP: the product master, stock levels, negotiated terms, orders. An online shop without integration forces your team to maintain the same data twice — with predictable consequences.

DOUBLE ENTRY

Maintain everything twice

Create a product in the ERP, then again in the shop: every change has to be entered twice. That eats up working hours and the two systems inevitably drift apart.

PRICING ERRORS

Wrong prices in front of customers

B2B prices are negotiated per customer. If they are copied into the shop by hand, sooner or later a customer will see the wrong terms — and that costs trust.

INVENTORY

Outdated stock information

Without inventory sync, customers order goods that aren't in stock — or they buy elsewhere because the shop incorrectly shows "out of stock".

02How it works

How does the adapter architecture work?

The CS Order Suite doesn't talk to the ERP directly — it goes through an adapter, a clearly separated interface layer for each ERP system. Your ERP remains the system of record: master data, pricing terms, and orders are maintained where they belong.

The shop pulls products, inventory, and customer-specific prices from the ERP and sends incoming orders back. Your team keeps working exclusively in the system they know — no double data entry.

The principle
The ERP leads – data is maintained only in the ERP system
The adapter translates – one interface layer per ERP system
The shop displays & collects – current data out, orders back in
03SAP Business One

What does the online shop synchronize with SAP Business One?

A ready-made adapter is available for SAP Business One e-commerce integration. It keeps four data domains in sync between the ERP and the shop:

01

Products

Product data flows from SAP Business One into the shop — the product master is maintained only in the ERP.

02

Inventory

Stock levels are synchronized between the ERP and the shop, so customers see reliable availability.

03

Customer-specific prices

After logging in, every approved business customer sees the terms and price lists negotiated in the ERP.

04

Orders

Shop orders flow straight back into the ERP as sales orders — no retyping, no media breaks.

Prices only become visible after account approval: new customers register, you verify them, and only then can they view terms and place orders — the classic B2B workflow. Learn more under customer-specific pricing.

04ERP systems

Which ERP systems are supported?

The adapter for SAP Business One is available today. The adapter architecture is deliberately designed so that additional ERP systems can be connected through their own adapters.
