4. Data collection on this website

Cookies

Our web pages use so-called “cookies.” Cookies are small text files and do not cause any damage to your device. They are stored on your device either temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (persistent cookies). Session cookies are deleted automatically at the end of your visit. Persistent cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them yourself or your web browser deletes them automatically.

Cookies have various functions. Many cookies are technically necessary, as certain website functions would not work without them. Other cookies are used to evaluate user behavior or to display advertising.

Server log files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser transmits to us automatically. These are:

  • browser type and browser version
  • operating system used
  • referrer URL
  • host name of the accessing computer
  • time of the server request
  • IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources. This data is collected on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimization of its website – for this purpose, the server log files must be collected.

We do not pass on this data without your consent. The data you enter in the contact form remains with us until you request its erasure, revoke your consent to storage, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g., after your inquiry has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

If you contact us by email, phone, or fax, your inquiry, including all personal data resulting from it (name, inquiry), will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

The right to lodge a complaint is without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy.

Objection to promotional emails

We hereby object to the use of contact data published in fulfillment of the legal-notice obligation for the purpose of sending advertising and information material that has not been expressly requested. The operators of the pages expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of unsolicited advertising information being sent, for example by spam emails.

Obligation to provide data

Providing the data marked as mandatory is necessary to conduct the application procedure. Without this information we cannot process your application.

7. B2B visitor identification (“Firmenradar”)

To analyze which companies visit our website, we use a self-operated B2B visitor identification procedure (“Firmenradar”). When a page is requested, the IP address of the request is processed and checked as to whether it is assigned to a company – by means of a reverse DNS lookup (e.g., gw.siemens.de → Siemens) and by matching it against the public IP registration data of the RIPE database (RIPE NCC, Amsterdam/EU). For this purpose, the IP address is transmitted to the RIPE database. This identifies companies only, never individual persons.

The IP address is not stored in plain text, but only as a truncated, salted hash (pseudonymization). No cookies are set and no device- or person-related profiles are created. What is stored is the identified company/domain name, the page requested, the referrer, and the time of the request.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in evaluating business interest in our website and in approaching potential business customers (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data is processed exclusively on our servers within the EU/EEA and is deleted automatically after 180 days at the latest.

You may object to this processing at any time (Art. 21 GDPR) – by email to info@cs.gmbh.

8. Google Analytics and Google Ads (only with consent)

On our website we use Google Analytics 4 (audience measurement) and Google Ads conversion tracking (measuring the success of our advertisements) – provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. These services are loaded only after your active consent via our cookie notice (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 25(1) of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act, TDDDG). Without consent, no Google services are loaded and no cookies are set.

If consent is given, Google processes information about your use of the website (e.g., pages visited, device data, truncated IP address) and sets cookies for recognition purposes. Data may be transferred to the United States in the process; Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. We have concluded a data processing agreement with Google and have configured Google Consent Mode v2 so that all storage signals are set to “denied” without consent.

You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, or grant it again: Open cookie settings. Details on data processing by Google can be found at policies.google.com/privacy.

9. Note for visitors from the United States

This website is operated from Germany by CS Management & IT-Beratung GmbH and is subject to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The rights and safeguards described above apply to all visitors, regardless of where they are located.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Analytics and advertising services (section 8) are loaded only after your active consent.

For any privacy request – access, correction, deletion, objection, or a question about how your data is handled – contact us at info@cs.gmbh.
