B2B e-commerce platform for foodservice & butcher supply distributors

The CS Order Suite is a B2B e-commerce platform for distributors of restaurant, butcher, and commissary supply – packaging, casings, spices, smallwares, disposables, sanitation – with ERP integration (SAP Business One and others), contract pricing per account, order guides per location, and barcode reordering in the back of house. Your customers reorder on their own schedule, and every order lands in your ERP.

01Today’s ordering situation

Huge catalogs, phone rush hours, paper order guides

Butcher shops, kitchens, and commissaries reorder the same core items week after week – but the path still runs through a printed catalog, a phone call, and retyping.

Orders come when the kitchen has a minute

Butchers order at 5 a.m. before the first batch; restaurants after the dinner service – exactly when inside sales is not at the desk. The order waits, and so does the customer.

Tens of thousands of SKUs on paper

The customer calls with page numbers from the catalog or a PDF; your team searches and types – and every transposed item number ends up in the ERP.

Regular customers, regular items

Every location reorders its own set of casings, spices, trays, and gloves – the ideal setup for order guides and barcode scanning. Today it is a weekly phone routine.

02What changes

What changes when the weekly order moves into the customer portal

Your ERP stays the system of record, your routes and pricing stay as they are. The online store shows each account its own guide, price, and delivery day – and takes the order without retyping.

ORDER GUIDES

One guide per location

Each kitchen or shop reorders from its own guide – built from past orders, edited by the customer or your rep. The weekly order takes minutes on a phone.

PRICING

Contract price per account

Contract pricing and price lists come from the ERP and apply after login. No public prices, no second price maintenance in the store.

CUT-OFF

Delivery days and cut-off shown

Delivery days and order cut-off per location come from the ERP and are shown at checkout. After cut-off, the order is scheduled for the next delivery day.

BACK OF HOUSE

Scan the case, reorder

Barcode on the case in the walk-in or on the shelf, confirm the quantity, done – in the mobile browser, no app install.

03The platform

What the CS Order Suite brings to foodservice distribution

01

The ERP leads, the store follows

Items, inventory, prices, and orders stay in the ERP. The store syncs through an adapter architecture – a ready adapter for SAP Business One, other systems per project over REST, OData, SOAP, or file exchange.

02

Contract pricing from the ERP

Every account sees its negotiated prices and price lists after login – from the corner butcher shop to the commissary with a supply agreement – without a second price table.

Customer-specific pricing →
03

Order guides, around the clock

No opening hours: the order goes in at 5 a.m. or 11 p.m. from the location’s own guide, and it is waiting in the ERP in the morning – delivery day and cut-off shown at checkout.

Scan-to-reorder in the back of house

Search, order guides, past orders, and a barcode scan on the case in the walk-in or at the counter – tens of thousands of SKUs become an order in minutes.

Verified accounts only

Operators register, you verify and approve – only then are prices visible and orders possible. Net terms, card, or ACH through your payment provider, integrated per project.

Punchout & EDI for large accounts

Hospital systems, hotel groups, and contract caterers pull your catalog into Ariba, Coupa, or Jaggaer via cXML punchout, or exchange EDI 850/855/856/810 – at their contract prices.

04Industry FAQ

Questions foodservice distributors ask us

Can our customers order outside business hours?

Yes. The online store has no opening hours. Orders placed at 5 a.m. before the first batch or at 11 p.m. after service are waiting in your ERP the next morning – no phone intake, no retyping.

How do customers find their way around a catalog of tens of thousands of SKUs?

Through search, order guides, and past orders – and through scan-to-reorder: scan the barcode on the case in the walk-in or at the counter, confirm the quantity, done. Substitutes are suggested when an item is out of stock.

Does every account see its own prices?

Yes. Contract pricing and price lists come from your ERP and apply automatically after login – from the neighborhood butcher shop to the commissary with a supply agreement. No second price maintenance in the store.

Can a restaurant group keep a separate order guide per location, with its own delivery days?

Yes. One account can carry several ship-to locations, each with its own order guide. Delivery days and cut-off times are maintained in the ERP and shown per location; an order placed after cut-off is scheduled for the next delivery day – configured per project.

We run SAP Business One – does it fit?

Yes. There is a ready adapter for SAP Business One: items, inventory, prices, and orders stay in sync, and the ERP remains the system of record. Other ERPs connect through a project adapter over REST, OData, SOAP, database, or file exchange.

Can large accounts such as hospital systems, hotel groups, or contract caterers connect their procurement system?

Yes. Punchout catalogs via cXML (SAP Ariba, Coupa, Jaggaer, Oracle) and OCI make your online store an external catalog inside the customer’s procurement system, and EDI 850/855/856/810 runs through an EDI provider or direct – with the account’s contract prices.
